What is a complimentary consultation?

Your complimentary consultation is a free first visit to Prime Orthodontics to discuss your tooth positioning and the orthodontic treatments available to adjust your teeth. During the consultation, you can bring up your own concerns about misalignment before the team examines you.

After taking your medical and dental history, the Prime Orthodontics team examines your teeth and the soft tissues in your mouth. They look at how your teeth fit together and note any speech impediments or chewing difficulties that you bring up. They use a digital X-ray to take images that show your jaw and the roots of your teeth.

Digital X-rays help the team better understand your bite problems so that they can plan your orthodontic treatment effectively. They use the information they gather from the scans and the exam and interview to recommend orthodontic treatments.

Which services are discussed during a complimentary consultation?

The Prime Orthodontics team discusses your treatment choices with you during your complimentary consultation. This discussion is held after the team takes pictures and X-rays of your mouth and teeth. If you don’t know a lot about orthodontic treatments, they can help you consider the benefits of each and how they compare.

The team can discuss these treatments with you during your complimentary consultation:

The team tells you what you can expect from each of these treatments and what your results might look like. You don’t need to bring anything to your complimentary consultation. But there are a few ways to make sure you’re prepared for the appointment. It helps if you arrive with notes about prior dental work and medical information. Have it ready as you’re discussing your medical and dental history with the Prime Orthodontics team.

Bringing a list of questions makes your consultation as beneficial for you as possible. By having a list of questions ready for your orthodontist, you can be sure to get all the information you need to prepare for life with braces or aligners.
